Taylor Kinney as Lieutenant Kelly Severide, Squad Company 3

One ofChicago Fire'sfocal characters isKelly Severide, played by the dynamiteTaylor Kinney. Kinney shines as Severide thanks to his ability to create a complex, nuanced, imperfect yet avidly beloved character. In Season 11 ofChicago Fire,Severide left Chicago to pursue a career in arson investigation, accepting a spot in a prestigious academy in Alabama. Fans were sad to see Severide go, but he fortunately returned in the Season 12Chicago Firepremiere. Chi-Hards were happy to welcome Severide back.

Miranda Rae Mayo as Lieutenant Stella Kidd, Truck Company 81

Despite showing up in Season 4 ofChicago Fire,Miranda Ray Mayohas become a fan favorite with her phenomenal performance asStella Kidd. Kidd is tenacious, compassionate, and never afraid to fight for what she wants. Whether that's becoming a lieutenant or managing tosteal the heart of Severide, Mayo has a way of elevating every scene that she's in.

Eamonn Walker as Deputy District Chief Wallace Boden

Every hard-working firehouse needs a steadfast deputy, and DistrictChief Wallace Boden, played byEamonn Walker, has never wavered in his dedication. Walker is the perfect leader of Firehouse 51, always willing to throw himself into the line of fire (literally) to save Chicago residents. While many deputies might hide in their offices, Boden puts just as much work into understanding and caring for Firehouse 51 as he does in taking action on the front lines.

Kara Killmer as Paramedic in Charge Sylvie Brett, Ambulance 61

Firehouse 51's sweetheart yet devoted paramedicSylvie Brettis played byKara Killmer. Killmer has an effortless ability to add charm to any scene that she's in. Chi-Hards have fallen in love with Brett for her compassion and attentiveness with civilians, and adore her ongoing romance with her former 51 colleague Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer). In Season 12 ofChicago Fire, Brett revealed she and Casey are getting married — and also dropped the news that she plans to move to Portland following the wedding. Fans will be sad to see Brett go, but she's been a blast during her esteemed One Chicago tenure.

David Eigenberg as Lieutenant Christopher Herrmann, Engine Company 51

Chicago Firewouldn't be accurate to its Midwest setting without seeing the firefighters head to a local bar at the end of a hard shift. Molly's is that bar for Firehouse 51, owned and operated by fellow firefighterChris Herrmann, played byDavid Eigenberg. Herrmann is an experienced firefighter and dedicated first responder, committing many years of his life to the field. When the fresh-faced firefighters need help, they always have Herrmann to rely on.

Joe Minoso as Firefighter Joe Cruz, Squad Company 3

Firehouse 51 firefighterJoe Cruzis played byJoe Minoso, a long-time favorite amongChicago Firefans. Joe takes his life experience and becomes a caring, empathetic, and integral part of Firehouse 51's success. When Severide left Chicago in Season 11, it was Cruz who stepped up to the plate to make sure the station didn't suffer. Cruz's passion for the job has led him to become thebeating heart ofChicago Fire.

Christian Stolte as Firefighter Randy "Mouch" McHolland, Truck Company 81

Each ofDick Wolf's dramasdemands comic relief, and forChicago Fire, it's undeniablyRandy "Mouch" McHolland, played by the hilariousChristian Stolte. Despite being a seasoned firefighter who always knows when to get serious, he's a jovial guy who enjoys his time on the couch ("half-man, half-couch" is how he earned his nickname). Mouch is also half of theOne Chicagopower couple "Plouch" alongsideTrudy Platt (Amy Morton)fromChicago P.D.

Daniel Kyri as Firefighter Darren Ritter, Engine Company 51

Joining Firehouse 51 in Season 7 ofChicago Fire, 51 newbieDarren Ritteris played byDaniel Kyri. Ritter began as a timid firefighter candidate but quickly gained his footing after connecting with some of his fellow firefighters. Ritter is attentive, driven, and committed to becoming a stronger first responder, the makings of an exemplary firefighter.

Hanako Greensmith as Paramedic Violet Mikami, Ambulance 61

Violet Mikami, played byHanako Greensmith, is another addition to the late seasons ofChicago Fire. Violet is very competitive, constantly pushing herself to be a standout member of Firehouse 51. Violet is the paramedic youhopeshows up if you're ever in need. Straightforward and tenacious while also secretly sentimental,Chicago Firehas become even better withViolet on the team.

Jake Lockett as Firefighter Sam Carver

Jake Lockett stars asFirehouse 51's newest recruit, Sam Carver.Carver had a rivalrous relationship with Kidd from their time at the Academy together. This history, combined with his generally arrogant attitude, didn't pave the way for a solid first impression when he joined 51 inChicago FireSeason 11.Carver is flirtatious, co*cky, and privy to the occasional bar fight, and many Chi-Hards are curious about his feelings for Violet, as their banter has bordered on flirtation in Season 12.
